Following two years of construction, the new Yale Science Building (YSB) and Pavilion opened for teaching and research last summer. The project, which began with the demolition of Josiah Willard Gibbs Laboratory, provided Science Hill with nearly 300,000 gross square feet of new research lab, lecture hall, and central gathering spaces. Though significant, the YSB project is one of several projects underway in the coming years to improve and expand Science Hill. Check back in at sciencehillprojects.yale.edu for info and updates about the projects to come, and their impact on the area.

For now, find a brief video below of the completed Yale Science Building, including the start of classes.
